State Park Endangered Day Hike

Time: 10:00 a.m.
Location: Manchester State Park, Mendocino County
Please join Coastwalk for a hike led by Peter Warner, local Botanist, through this unique Park which includes Point Arena mountain beaver burrowing areas, as well as western snowy plover habitat, wetlands, dunes, coastal scrub, riparian, and coastal grassland.
Meet at Kinney Road Day Use area at 10am.  We will carpool people to Alder Creek Road to hike from Highway One to the outlet of Alder Creek and along the beach and dune environment ending at Kinney Road. Easy hiking with an estimated distance of 3 miles and approximately 3 hours of walking so please bring a sack lunch and water. Please RSVP with Coastwalk 1-800-550-6854
